Bedspreads
A Bedspread is simply a bed cover that drops all the way to the floor on three
sides of the bed, and has a 19” pillow-tuck at the head. In the case of
Because of the pillow tuck, and the drop, bedspreads are not normally used in conjunction with pillow shams or bed skirts. If you would like to use bed skirts or pillow shams, we recommend a comforter (with possibly a duvet cover in order to change the “look” from time to time) instead of a bedspread.
When ordering a bedspread, you will be asked for the “drop” from the top of your bed to the floor. The standard drop is 21”. However, taller beds (with longer drop-lengths) can be accommodated with only a slight upcharge.
Bedspreads normally come with white 100% Cotton fabric on the reverse side, however, solid color correlated colors are available for a modest upcharge.
Another option is a lighter fill. The standard or normal fill is 7 oz. Bonded Polyester per square yard. A lighter (5 oz.) is available.
Other options are Split Corners w/Tongues, a fitted foot & Self-Welt or Perimeter cording.
